The five alumni are: Mao Zhenhua, chairman and founder of Zhongxin Group; Wang Linpeng, founder and chairman of Easyhome Group; Zhang Bo, chairman of Shandong Wei Qiao Venture Group Co., Ltd. and co-chairman of Binzhou Shiping Public Welfare Foundation; Luo Aiping, director of Beijing Jiuqiang Biotechnology Co., Ltd.; and Jiang Liming, chairman of Litai Group Co., Ltd. Among them, Mao Zhenhua donated RMB 100 million free of charge to support the development of digital economy, big data, green sustainability and other related disciplines at his alma mater. Wu Da alumni have always been known for their love of the school, and they have always been among the best in the alumni donation list of China University.

11月19日下午，在武汉大学武汉校友会会员大会上，武汉大学党委书记黄泰岩在致辞中透露，10年来，武汉大学校友为母校捐款56亿元。援引武汉大学校长张的话说:“他说武汉大学的校友不一定捐得最多，但一定是最深情的。”
